关于经常来中国比赛，对中国的哪一座城市印象最深刻；对北京的感受如何；作为一名老将，曾经说自己的目标是12.85秒，但是这个记录现在已经被打破了，那么现在的目标是多少：

“2007年左右，我的个人最好成绩是13、14秒，所以我把12秒85作为目标，这就像是虽然没能登月，但也可落户繁星。但现在最重要的显然是赢得比赛，而不是关注用时。我的最终目标是8月重回北京并且卫冕世界冠军，这是我的新梦想，没有具体想要跑出什么成绩。赢下世锦赛是当前最重要的目标。”

关于110米栏领域的竞争对手以及身上是否有中国特色的纹身：

“当决赛来临时，8条赛道的每个人都能跑到13秒左右。决赛其实就是谁能主宰当下。我觉得，这次获得冠军很意外。所以，没人知道会发生什么。我必须保护好腿。说到纹身，我17岁开始纹纹身。有我儿子的名字和我大学时最好朋友的名字，暂时不打算印新纹身了。”

关于张国伟最近状态不错，今天北京夺冠的心情：

“感觉不错，最近一直参加大强度的比赛，对我来说是很大的考验，体力上确实有点透支。跳到2.34米时也很高兴，训练课上也是这个水平，所以也算是正常发挥。选择挑战2.40米，最后稍有遗憾，差一点过，下次继续努力。”

关于张国伟、王宇对北京田径世锦赛的期待：

“今天的比赛我很兴奋，一进场就感受到了有史以来我比过的气氛最好的一场比赛，甚至比在伦敦奥运会上的感觉还要好，从来没见过这么好的气氛，这么多的观众，这么热情，让我心潮澎湃。观众们热情让我有勇气挑战2.40米。我对世锦赛非常期待。”

“我对田径世锦赛的想法其实很简单，就是在自己的家门口，自己的主场上做自己应该做的事情，尽量把自己的水平发挥出来。今天的比赛更像是一场练兵赛，前段时间自己的状态一直不是很好，今天找到了一些感觉。”

关于张国伟对2.40米的尝试：

“今天的比赛气氛太好了，我没有理由不去挑战2.40米。2.40米并不是不可逾越，我们一定有机会去创造这个历史。”

关于张国伟对自己未来成绩的预期：

“我已经摸到小尾巴了，今天挑战2.40米给了自己很大的鼓舞。接下来我将以赛代练，也要注意休息。最近的比赛很多，我已经连续比了七、八场，很疲惫。等体力得到恢复后，精力更充沛的时候再去挑战2.40米。”

关于张国伟的教练：

“我很感谢我的黄教练，还有我的团队和领导，非常感谢他们一直支持我，让我从2013年以后越来越强大。他们陪我在美国接受了5个月的冬训，非常的辛苦，我会以更大的努力去回报他们。”

关于王宇近期的状态欠佳：

 “今天的比赛发挥还不错，主要是找到了久违的助跑的感觉。我也希望能够把这种状态一直延续下去。”

关于获得冠军的感受：

“我感觉非常好，这是我转入职业之后赢得的第一个冠军，希望在八月份的北京我还能取得好成绩。”

关于赛季伊始的感觉：

“我感觉非常不错，在今天的比赛中，包括在上周的钻石赛上有非常多优秀的中国选手，我希望保持我良好的状态。”

关于对北京世界锦标赛的期待：

“今年一开始，我改进了自己的起跳技术。今天我跳过了8.27米，希望今后我可以达到8.40米或8.50米。我对八月份的世锦赛有很高的期待。”

Oliver(American men’s 110m hurdles)

Q: Hello. I’m from Xinhua News Agency. My questionis that you have won the games both in Shanghai and in Beijing, so what is thedifference between your experiences in these two games?  

A: Yes. I am happy towin both of the competitions. It is very difficult to win. So I mean there arestill a lot of things I need to improve in my race. I feel I can get a higherspeed. I mean it is a great atmosphere in Shanghai. It is a great atmospherehere in Beijing. I’m very happy to be here because the Chinese people supportme a lot. I really appreciate that. You know 100 days from now is the finalglobal championships. I just have to improve my performance. The season isstill promising. The thing for me is just to make sure I maintain my health andI think I’ll be able to get the highest level I am able to. 

Q: Hello. I’m fromTrackfun. My first question is that after you have competed in China manytimes, which Chinese city impresses you most? And how do you feel like Beijing?My second question: you are now a veteran and you once said that your goal was12.85s. Now that that has been exceeded, what is your current goal? Thank you.(I must explain that 12.85s I just mentioned was a goal you wrote in yourpersonal website and the current world record was 12.80s, faster than your pastgoal. So have you got a new goal?)

A: I think that was in2007 or something. Back then my personal best is like 13, 14(seconds) orsomething, so I just decided that was a goal. It’s like you shoot for the moon,if you miss you’ll fall among the stars. I think I could be somewhere aroundthere. I could not turn my focus away from worrying about this specific time torun. Definitely now the most important thing is winning no matter what the timeis. It is to win. The ultimate goal is of course to be back here and defend theworld title. If I were able to win back-to-back world championships, that wouldbe just amazing. That’s a new dream, not a specific time to run. Doing that isthe most important goal right now. 

Q: Two questions. Thefirst, you said there were, I don’t know, maybe three men to beat. The secondone is a Chinese question. You have many tattoos on your body. Is there someespecially Chinese tattoo or something else? 

A: Yes , the 1^stquestion is about people-to-be for the world championships. I think when thetime comes to the final there, everybody in those 8 lines is capable of runninglike 13. Oh, you know, there’re probably about 8 guys on the top of my head. Ican think of that I can achieve that time. It’s kind of like 2013, those guysin the finals, most of us have been in 13 engines in this stuff. It’s justabout whoever execute the day, I don’t feel like that I can execute the daylike in the final of the world like what I did today or in Shanghai. Indeed, inthe midst, I don’t feel it would have to be much better, because in that threemonth time or whatever, people begin more fit. You know, I mean, in this early,a lot of people haven’t run yet or just run three or four times. I think thiswas like my theft completed in the race. I don’t doubt it because they fall inthe Manchester. It’s gained in the end of May, so who knows what’s gonnahappen, I have to take care of my leg and team hurdles, if I’m able to do this,it would be perfectly fine. 

As for my tattoos, itstarted out when I was 17, I have a lot of them from what they mean, a lot tome: my son’s name, one of my best friend’s die when I was in the college, youknow, like the Olympic games. You know, there’s something, I mean, that I wouldlike to pick up when I was 17, and I haven’t got any in the wilds. I think I’mpretty much dead at this age. 

ZhangGuowei, Wang Yu (Chinese high jumpers)

Q: On behalf of thepress center of the organizing committee, my question for Zhang Guowei is thatyou delivered a good performance in last week’s diamond league and you won the1^st place here in Beijing. How do you feel about that? 

A: I feel good. Therecent intensive competitions pose a great challenge and I am a little bittired out. I am happy about making 2.34m, which is equal to my trainingperformance and this result is not surprising. So I chose to give a try at2.40m. It was a pity that I didn’t make it but I will work harder next time.Thank you.   .

Q: My question is forboth of you. Please talk about your expectations for the 2015 Beijing WorldChampionships in Athletics. 

Zhang: Actually I feelhappy about today’s game since the atmosphere here is the best I have everexperienced, even better than in the London Olympic Games. There are so manyenthusiastic spectators here. All this makes me excited. I have never had sucha good game. Thank you. 

Wang: My view about theWorld Championships or my requirement for myself is very simple: to deliver mybest performance here in my motherland. I think today’s game is like a warm-upfor me. My previous performance was not so good and I start to feel bettertoday. I believe I will become still better in the near future. Thank you. 

Q: I am from The Mirrorand my question for Zhang is that you gave a try at 2.40m but failed. Still,you kept a positive attitude. What is your feeling before and after this try?Is that because you are in your good form today that you wanted to attempt abetter result in your last try? 

A: Yes, I am feelinggood today since the atmosphere is brilliant. I have no reason not to try 2.40msince it is not so difficult and many Chinese athletes better than me have thepotential to make it. Therefore, I just want to achieve this sooner. Thanks forthe audience. Thank you. 

Q：FromXinhua News agency. You have mentioned before that you have been targeting ZhuJianhua’s record as a way forward, and do you feel today’s try towards 2.40meter is a bit like touching the record of Zhu? And in another hand,what’s yourplans on your improvement of performance?

A: “As what you havesaid, I have touched the record narrowly, I did. I feel it promising indeed tochallenge 2.40 meters, and it is encouraging. ON the competition ahead, Ichoose to improve myself in the competitions. More rest is needed, because Ihave continuously raced seven or eight times, making me tired, during which Ijumped out 2.30 meters for many times and remained in this. So, I hope that,after my recovery and getting more energy, I will try 2.40 meters. I’m lookingforward a sound result. Thank you! ”

Q: Zhang Guowei, I noticed your saying of thanks to your coach at the end ofyour competition. How did your coach help you since you have been in such agood form and performance?

A: I’m very gratefulfor supports from my coach Huang and my team and leaders. It’s they that makeme more and more strong since 13.They then accompanied me with my 5 month’strainings in America. They worked harder than me in those days for they havefamilies to care and have me to train and care, and helped me in everydayness.Their trust supports me to this place. So, I will work harder and keep going torepay them for their kindness.

Q: I am from XinhuaNews Agency and this question is for Wang Yu. It is the first time you haveexceeded 2.30m in the past three years. Your performance was not sosatisfactory in the previous games. What is the difference this time? And onthe basis of this year’s situation, what is your plan for the future?

A: Actually my formtoday is not so good as you think. I didn’t expect to get such a good result.My good performance this time is due to my brilliant run-up. My run-up traininghelps me make today’s leap and I hope I can keep my performance in the future.I am confident. Thank you. 

MichaelHartfield (American long jumper)

Q: How do you feel about winning the first place?

A: I feel great, my first win, my first circuit. Itfeels good to be here in Beijing during the World Championships here. So, I’llcome back in the August. 

Q: How do you feel about a lot of jumping beginningat this season?

A: Feels good, very good, I know the Chinese jumpersjump very well today as well as the early Sunday in Shanghai and make off theirown champions to win as much good as the world. So the goods feels come fromthe executing getting the winners. It’s really good for me.

Q: What are your expectations for the coming worldcompetitions?

A: This year I switched to new techniques, which isreally good for me, and everything is really new for me, so I’m trying to getit down, if I can still be 8.27m. Keep practicing is the stuff. By the timeAugust comes, I hope to get it down at 8.40 or 8.50m.
